The Institute of accounting Arusha (IAA) is a state educational institution established by the Institute of accounting Arusha Act 1990. Overall control and management of the institution is vested in its Governing Council.
The institute has over time developed a total number of thirty-seven academic programs from Basic technician certificate, Regular Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate Diploma and master’s degree.
The institute also conducts short-term courses and seminars, many of them tailored to the needs of the client. In addition, it conducts consulting and research activities as part of its mission. Through these measures, the IAA aspires to develop lasting partnerships with industry, government, and NGOs.
