The National Institute for Medical Research Tanzania (NIMR) is a parastatal organization under the Ministry responsible for Health established by Parliament Act No. 23 of 1979. NIMR has the mandate to carry out, promote, monitor, control, coordinate and evaluate health research.
POST: CLINICAL OFFICER II - 8 POST
Duties and Responsibilities
- To make a proper diagnosis of disease;
- To prescribe treatments;
- To treat wounds;
- To give First Aid to Medical problems;
- To give anesthesia during operations;
- To attend general outpatient clinics; and
- To perform any other duties as may be assigned by superior.
Qualification and Experience
- Holder of Form IV or VI certificate plus a Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution.
