As Tanzania SLOA PEA Consultant you will be responsible for providing
technical inputs and logistics support to healp in implementing of PEA
to Tanzania’s SLOA
POSITION: Tanzania SLOA PEA Consultant.
Participate in negotiations with USAID and Tanzanian team SLOA to help coordinate pea initiatives
Assist with the development of PEA research program and internal plan schedule
Coordinate meetings with national and local officials, experts, civil society groups, and community members
Coordinate field site visits materials, participate in interviews with important connoisseurs, provide interpretation as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 10 years of relevant work experience related to natural resource management( NRM), climate change, and environmental governance politics in TanzaniaExperience in Tanzania and record shown working with USAID and/or other donors, international organizations, research institutes, and ministries/national government agencies
Experience working in collaboration with local communities on NRM issues in Tanzania
Experience supporting and/or coordinating field research conferences and facilities
Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field required, Master’s degree or other higher in the relevant field preferred
